Get QuizCloak running in under 2 minutes.
QuizCloak is available on the Chrome Web Store. One click and you're done.
Go to quizcloak.com and subscribe. After payment, you'll create a password on the success page.
Search for "QuizCloak" on the Chrome Web Store, or use the link on the success page. Click Add to Chrome.
Click the puzzle piece icon next to your address bar and pin QuizCloak for easy access.
Tip: QuizCloak works on Chrome, Brave, Arc, Edge, and any Chromium-based browser.
After installing, log in with the account you created during checkout.
Click the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar. You'll see the login screen.
Use the email you subscribed with and the password you created on the success page after checkout.
Once logged in, the cloak activates automatically on all tabs. You'll see the toggle switch showing "Active on all tabs."
Once logged in, QuizCloak works automatically on every website. There's nothing else you need to do — just browse normally.
Click the QuizCloak icon to see the toggle switch. Flip it off to disable cloaking, or back on to re-enable it. After toggling, reload any open tabs for the change to take effect.
Important: Make sure QuizCloak is activated before you start the quiz. If you start the quiz first, reload the quiz page after enabling the extension.
Make sure you're using the same email you subscribed with. Passwords are case-sensitive. If you forgot your password, email us for a reset.
This means your payment didn't go through or your subscription was canceled. Check your payment method in Stripe, or resubscribe at quizcloak.com.
Make sure you reload the page after installing or re-enabling QuizCloak. The script needs to run before the page loads. If you started a Canvas quiz before enabling the extension, reload the quiz page.
Note: QuizCloak cannot bypass proctoring software like Respondus LockDown Browser, Proctorio, or Honorlock. These tools use separate detection methods beyond the browser's Visibility API.
